TimeTuna booking widget
TimeTuna is a scheduling service making scheduling a meeting less boring and more fun with background imagery and customization that allows you to brand your page. Booking widget got a new look and feel, plus improved mobile version.
Earliest available time slot is picked automatically.
Navigation between weeks got easier with keyboard support.

Old design almost inevitably ended up with vertical scroll when many time slots were available.
New layout remedies that by setting the number of rows to four and moving form to the separate step. Space is used more efficiently: approximately 66% more time slots fit in the same area, while the font size has also increased.

Mobile version has a scroll in any case, so there is no need to split booking into separate steps as in desktop version.
Booking widget can be tinted to better match or contrast background.

Word to client
Yuri reached out to me and offered to help with TimeTuna’s design. Many people offer help with design, engineering, or marketing, but what mattered to me most was improving the booking page itself – the core product of TimeTuna. With more than 50% of users on mobile, it was essential to make both desktop and mobile booking experiences excellent. Yuri focused on this priority.
Over the course of three follow-up calls, Yuri presented multiple Figma proposals, incorporated feedback quickly, and explored the problem far beyond the superficial level. His work included:
- Using the booking card space more effectively
- Making the card consistent in size regardless of slot availability or input fields
- Designing multiple themes adaptable to video backgrounds and personalization needs
- Ensuring the booking card and fullscreen video display cleanly on mobile
- Educating me on accessibility and the importance of contrast, which changed my initial design preferences
Beyond the quality of his output, I want to highlight Yuri’s work ethic and character. He approached every discussion with curiosity, not ego. He listened, iterated, and brought thoughtful experience without imposing his views. His mindset is humble, open, and collaborative – exactly what I hoped for in a designer.
I strongly recommend Yuri to other founders looking for high-quality, reliable, and user-focused design support.
